Varanasi

Varanasi – visit New Kashi Vishwanath Temple in campus of Banaras Hindu University, Sankat Mochan Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Durga Temple, Tridev Temple etc. In evening visit the Golden Temple Main Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Annapurna Temple, Vishlakshi Temple and evening Ganga Aarti and Boating on River Ganga at Dasaswamedh Ghat.

Muktinath

Situated at an altitude of 3,710 meters (12,172 feet) at the base of the Thorong La mountain pass in the Mustang district, Muktinath is a highly venerated sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists.

Hindus call the site Mukti Kshetra, which literally means the "place of salvation" and it is one of the most ancient temples of the God Vishnu and the Vaishnava tradition in Nepal. The shrine is considered to be one of the eight sacred places known as Svayam Vyakta Ksetras (the other seven being Srirangam, Srimushnam, Tirupati, Naimisharanya, Totadri, Pushkar and Badrinath), as well as one of the 108 Divya Desam, or holy places of worship of Lord Vishnu. Additionally, it is also one of the 51 Shakti Pitha goddess sites.

The temple is small and contains a human-sized golden statue of Vishnu as Shri Mukti Narayana. In addition to Mukti Narayana, the temple has bronze images of Bhoodevi (the Earth-goddess form of Lakshmi), the goddesses Saraswati and Janaki (Sita), Garuda (the mount of Vishnu), Lava-Kusa (the sons of Rama and Sita) and the Sapta Rishis (Seven Sages created by Lord Brahma). There is an old Buddhist monk present in the temple and worship is conducted by Buddhist nuns.

Tour Itinerary

Day 01: - Arrival at Varanasi

Arrive at Varanasi Airport / Railway Station pickup and transfer to the hotel, check in with traditional Welcome. Fresh up & proceed to city tour of Varanasi – visit New Kashi Vishwanath Temple in campus of Banaras Hindu University, Sankat Mochan Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Durga Temple, Tridev Temple etc. In evening visit the Golden Temple Main Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Annapurna Temple, Vishlakshi Temple and evening Ganga Aarti and Boating on River Ganga at Dasaswamedh Ghat & overnight stay at Varanasi.

Day 02: - Varanasi

After breakfast visit Sarnath is place where Lord Buddha preached first sermon after enlightenment, visit Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Jain Temple, Buddha Temple, Sarnath Museum, Ashok Pillar, Deer Park. Then move drive to Ramnagar Fort, Palace of King of Varanasi. In evening visit Silk Weaving centre heart of Varanasi product and visit Kaal Bhairav Mandir. Return back to hotel & overnight stay at Varanasi.

Day 03: - Departure from Varanasi and onward to Lumbini

After breakfast check out hotel & proceed to Airport / Railway Station for connect Flight / Train back to onward journey with sweet memories of VARANASI PILGRIMAGE TOUR & onward to Lumbini Overnight stay at Lumbini

Day 04:- Drive Lumbini to Pokhara

Breakfast Check out Monestary tour & and DRIVE towards Pokhara via Manokamana Devi temple - visit temple by cable car ride – really its wonder full and exciting cable car ride – reach Pokhara in evening - overnight

Day 05: Fly to Jomsom and Drive to Mukinath

Morning – transfer to Pokhara airport and flight to Jomsom - 30Minutes flight – reach Jomsom – some time walk get jeep stand drive to Muktinath temple 2HRS - Holy Snnan and Darshan temple Pooja back to Jomsom overnight

Day 06: Fly back to Pokhara and Pokhara city tour Drive to Kathmandu to join your group to Mount Kailash (either of the Kailash schedule departure date May to September 2024)

After breakfast fly back to Pokhara pick form Airport and ity tour at Pokhara, Drive to Kathmandu overnight stay.

Day 07: Pashupatinath Temple visit and fly to Nepalganj (150 m) 1 hr. 30 minutes flight

Breakfast will be in the hotel. A visit to Pashupatinath Temple in the morning will be organized for the travelers. The visit may also include Boudhnath Stupa depending on availability of time. In the afternoon you will b e transferred with the group to the Domestic Airport Terminal to board your flight to Nepalgunj. On arrival at Nepalgunj transfer by bus to your hotel. Meet with other co-travelers who starts there trip from Nepalganj and night stay at your hotel. (Meals included: Veg Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 08: Fly Nepalganj - Simikot (4025 m) – Airlift to Hilsa by Helicopter, walk uphill to Sher and drive to Taklakot.

Today after early breakfast transfer to the Nepalgunj airport from where you board your scheduled flight to Simikot on fixed wing aircraft. On arrival at Simikot you will get a chartered helicopter which will ferry the group to Hilsa which has a non-metallic air-strip. On arrival at Hilsa our sherpa team will escort the group on a 45 minutes trek to the Tibetan Border city Sher. Here at Sher, you will find our vehicles (jeeps/van/bus) waiting for you to take the group to Taklakot after completing custom and immigration formalities. On arrival at Taklakot (Burang) check into Hotel for night stay.

Day 09: Day free for acclimatization at Taklakot ( Burang)

This day will be free at Taklakot to acclimatize you to undertake the most difficult pilgrimage of Mount Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Do nothing beside rest at Taklakot and stay at your hotel. You may also take short trek/walk and visit local markets

Day 10: Drive to Chui Gompa, Mansarovar (4590 m)

The ultimate of your Mount Kailash Yatra awaits for you today. Today you will have the first darshan of Holy Lake Mansarovar. After breakfast we take a drive to Chui Gompa (4560 m) through a rough terrain via Rakshas Taal. Besides taking bath in the Holy Lake Mansarovar you will also have free time for puja and havan at your own cost (on Full moon trips, it will be a full moon day at Mansarovar). After all this if time permits we will also visit the Hot Spring (additional charges for bathing in Hot Spring not covered in the package). Night stay will be at your guest house in near the lake Manasarovar.

Day 11: Mansarovar to drive to Tarboche. Trek to Dirapuk (16 kms / 5-7 hrs)

After breakfast we drive to Tarboche which is also known as Shershong. Enroute we will visit Yama Dwar. Enter the holy gate and continue further to Tarboche. At Tarboche you will meet Yak and Yak men. This is the starting point of the parikrama and the first day of kora. If you wish to hire a Yak and a porter to carry your luggage, you have to take from here only. During the trek you will today have the first darshan of Holy Mt. Kailash (North face). Today we will stay at our camp at Dirapuk.

Day 12: Trek to Zuthulphuk (5600 m) – 22 kms / 9-10 hrs trek

Early morning after having stunning view of Mount Kailash, we start our trek uphill. This is going to be difficult trek and full of climax on the holy yatra of Mount Kailash. Be prepared in your mind accordingly. We trek just under the Holy Mount Kailash. The trek will bring you to Drolma La pass (5800m) which is the highest points of the trek to Mount Kailash. The trek is rocky and steep upward and then downward. From here we descend towards gradual field of Zuthulphuk. When you move down you will see Gauri Kunda. From the valley below the walk becomes pleasant and relaxing a bit. The path takes you through some gentle slopes over the grassy field. Reach Zuthulphuk and stay in a guesthouse/camp. (Meals included: Light Veg Breakfast /Fruits, Frooty, Chocolates, Water as Lunch, Light dinner)

Day 13: Zuthulphuk to Darchen trek 10 km/ 4 - 5 hrs. and drive to Taklakot 110 km/ 4 - 5 hrs

Breakfast will be served near the guesthouse/camp and one can enjoy the morning time in exploring the caves, visiting the temples and shrine built around. Here you will see a married old couple supervising the temple. The temple is a residence for over half a dozen Tibetan devotees, helpers or relatives who keep busy themselves busy with the maintenance of the buildings. The cave also contains meditation platforms. Climbing up to these caves before ending the final trek of the holy Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is worth. After a10 kms / 4-5 hours walk we reach to the final destination of our Mansarovar Yatra trek near Darchen. (Those who could not do parikarma would be waiting to welcome other group members at this point). Our vehicles will be waiting to take the group to the hotel in Taklakot for overnight stay.

Day 14: Drive Taklakot to Sher, Trek down till Hilsa and fly to Simikot

After breakfast we drive to Sher and descend down to Hilsa by crossing the bridge. From Hilsa the chartered Helicopter will ferry the group to Simikot and stay overnight in guest house.

Day 15: Fly to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj and proceed to Lucknow

After breakfast we will be taking scheduled flight to Nepalganj. From Nepalganj Drive to Lucknow 5 hours
